Experienced Dog Trainer in Surrey, Kent & South East London
About me
From the age of 11 years old I was competing in FCI Junior Competition Obedience in Europe and regularly travelled to Europe for trials. I trialed in France, Germany, Holland and Belgium and was regularly placed in the Top 3 junior competitors. By the time I was 18 years old I had been training and trialling for 8 or 9 years.
My passion for training dogs has been developed over a thirty year period through initially the training of my dogs for Competition Obedience then into Working dogs for active roles in the Security Service Industry as well as completing my Undergraduate studies in Animal Behaviour and then my Masters Degree Programme in Canine Behaviour.
My experience and results have proven me to be a multi dimensional trainer having spent many years training dogs for roles in the Service Industry such as GP Patrol Dogs, Explosive Detection dogs and Drug dogs as well as hundreds of pet dogs alike.
Achievements & Awards
I'm proud to have been titled NASDU British Trials Champion in 2018, as well as being awarded Service Dog Handler of the Year in 2018 in the City of London by the Worshipful Company in City Livery.
Over the years I have titled several Dogs to IGP 2, IGP or IPO as it used to be known is Dog Sport consisting of Obedience, Protection and Tracking. As well as this I have titled individual TR (tracking titles) and lots of FCI Obedience Trials across Europe over the past 30 years.
I am currently training for Mondioring Category 1. Mondioring is an Obedience and Protection based Sport with an emphasis on Defence of Handler and generally dogs of a social character.
